We live in a time where images rush past us in seconds.
We consume them faster than we can truly see them. This pace, the constant comparing, registering, and scrolling, has shaped, and sometimes numbed, my own way of seeing.
At some point, I began searching for a counterbalance, a form of presence not defined by speed but by attention. That search led me to meditation. At first, I was simply trying to find inner stillness, a way to balance myself against the visual overstimulation of our time. As an experiment, I started meditating with my eyes open.
